The Opportunity 

The Manager Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) is accountable for planning and managing the provision of Health, Safety and Wellbeing services including an employee wellbeing strategy. The opportunity will enable a hard working professional to take a proactive and systemic approach in the development and implementation of safety frameworks.

Our client has a key focus on employee wellness strategies, so this must be an area of passion for the right candidate!

The Role 

This role provides expert advice to management on HSW matters and supports them in providing a safe workplace and managing workplace incidents. It also manages or undertakes HSW projects, injury and incident management and the return to work of ill or injured employees, and reporting on HSW performance against a range of metrics.

The Manager HSW manages the employee health and safety individual case management system for ill and injured staff and a case load.


The ideal candidate will possess:

• Relevant qualifications in occupational health and safety (essential)
• Substantial experience in work health and safety (essential)
• Public sector experience (essential)
