Who are you?
You are a passionate and creative Senior Developer who has had worked on a variety of projects and technologies. You strive to create high quality work, whilst understanding the needs and goals of the business. You are motivated and passionate about emerging technology and will have experience in most the following areas:

• Cloud Services (Amazon AWS)
• Deep understanding of Git, development workflows, and software delivery
• Development experience in multiple of the following technologies:
• - WCF
• - WPF
• - NET MVC
• - .NET Core
• - Docker
• - React
• - SQL
• Deep knowledge of design patterns and CI/CD pipeline skills (e.g. Octopus Deploy, TeamCity)
• Good database knowledge with either SQL Server or MongoDB
• Strong programming fundamentals (e.g. SOLID)
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
• Demonstrated problem solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to manage priorities and task scheduling with minimal direction
• Strong organisation skills and high attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write concisely for documentation, project specifications, and business cases
• Demonstrated team work skills including the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Take pride in designing, writing, & maintaining high quality code
• Aptitude or desire to mentor junior colleagues

 What will you be doing?
Our Developers contribute to new and innovative ways of producing software. Your daily responsibilities will include the following:

• Design, write, & maintain high quality code
• Identifying new market opportunities and technology advances. This includes analysing trends and market disruptions and searching for emerging new market and technology opportunities
• Proactively research latest technologies and advise on usability to the Development Manager and best practice deployment
• Reviewing current business practises and advising on business and process improvements
• Developing new products and adding functionality to our existing software
• Participate in a small, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule
• Working with the Development Managers to provide clear build briefs to the Development team for creation and deployment of software solutions
• Mentoring junior/graduate developers
• Working alongside other Developers and in a consultative fashion with other department heads, notably Product Development, Marketing and Operations as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness
