About the Job

The key responsibility for this position is to be proactive to manage, maintain and further develop all software systems including but not limited to VisiCase, SharePoint, NetSuite, Empower, Timefiler:

System Development and Integrity

  • Proactively maximise the use of functionality in all systems where appropriate to meet new business needs.
  • Fully understand system changes and communicate with relevant parties to determine the relevance to business needs and support the role out with training and appropriate documentation.
  • Lead the development of all systems to meet business needs;
  • Ensure the maintenance of data integrity in all systems;
  • Be a proactive participant in user groups;

Reporting

  • Develop and maintain all reports as requested to ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Develop and Maintain monthly KPI reporting minimising manual input and maximising integration of systems;
  • Proactively improve the effectiveness of data entry into systems to ensure reporting requirements can be streamlined
  • Extraction of data for NDIS claims;
  • Continue to develop Data Cubes to enable increased access to Visicase Data

Support and Training

  • Systems administrator for all software systems;
  • Provide help desk support, including maintenance of issues register, troubleshooting and resolving issues;
  • Ensure there is a mechanism for gathering staff feedback regarding staff satisfaction;
  • Continue to develop and maintain user’s manual, training manual, updating current work instructions and integrating procedures and business rules;
  • Work with software developers to implement any changes as approved including testing of system updates prior to implementation;
  • Ensure timely and effective communication to all stakeholders when their use of systems will be impacted ie new releases etc
  • Organise, develop and conduct training sessions across RFT programs at all staff levels to ensure staff knowledge is current;
  • Re-establish and Lead ongoing development of VisiCase ‘champions’;

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT and/or system administration business experience
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve key deliverables on time and to budget
  • An understanding of business systems and a systematic approach to planning and implementation
  • Patience, understanding and comfort with diverse and varied skill levels, personalities and IT experience
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative environment, it is all about people helping people
  • Experience writing procedures and workflows
  • Experience in reporting writing
  • Data analysis skills
  • High level Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Training experience
  • Drivers licence and ability to travel state wide occasionally as required
  • Current Police Check
