Immediate positions available for experienced Specialist Technicians.
Your new company
This Mining Market Leader is looking for a talented Information Services Technician for an initial 6 month contract with possible extension. This is a FIFO role based on an 8:6 Roster.
You will join a team on a high profile program whose vision is to enable a fully integrated and automated business from resource to market. This global initiative means you will join an innovative team that is coming together with a focus on identifying and implementing new ways of raising standards while improving productivity, safety and environmental impact.
Your new role
In your new role, you will safely undertake day-to-day prevention maintenance of site information systems as per work instructions. You will provide technical and field support to operations, which include Fleet Management, Wireless Telemetry and Control Systems, Network, Server, Infrastructure, Digital radio along with Desktop and Meeting Room support. Field support specifically will include repairs, replacements, fault finding and improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
Technical Capabilities and Competencies
- Minimum 3 years post qualification mining/heavy machinery experience.
- Experienced in large scale industrial operations.
- WA Manual Drivers licence.
- Experience in support of IT Systems and Networks.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certificates.
- Systems: Mine site Radio Communication Network, Fleet Management and Drill Positioning Systems, SCADA and Telemetry network, Electronic Fuel Management, MineStar and Driver Fatigue Monitoring systems.
- Desired: FIFO Experience, Desktop, Windows 7 enterprise Support, IT Network certifications, Open cabling Licence and UHF/ Digital radio certifications.
