The company:
Our client is a government Organisation that is based in the heart of Sydney CBD. It is a market leader with a variety of operations across Australia and further afield.

The role:
They have a current requirement of Senior Project Manager for 6 months to manage and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of complex projects to achieve project outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives.

In this role you will:
• Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of projects
• Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management
• Manage a project team/s, ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements
• Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues
• Be managing consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints and interests

The successful candidate will have:
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large business projects (including organisational change)
• Experience in successful end-to-end delivery of assigned transformational business project through strong and rigorous application of Project Management Methodology
• Significant experience in managing government business transformation projects within formal programs of work
• Experience in business process development and management
• Project Management certification, e.g. PRINCE2
