Royal Far West is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in a full time capacity. Reporting to the Business Intelligence & IT Manager this position is responsible for investigating and analysing business problems and lead the overall design of the solution.  Complete business solutions will have people, process and technology components and the Business Analyst will ensure the interaction between these aspects are optimised.  The Business Analyst will own the technology component which may be in the form of an enhancement to an existing system, implementation of a new system or integration between systems and through investigation, will understand how any changes may impact other parts of the system or workflows.

The Business Analyst will also be responsible for ensuring solutions are implemented through to user uptake and continue to support them.  Ongoing support will include first line enquiries, trouble shooting, upgrades, user access management, user training and any other support that is required.

ABOUT YOU

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information System, Engineering, IT/Commerce or similar degree
  • Minimum 2+ years relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of business process improvement and/or change management
  • Manage competing requirements and come to a solution that satisfies all stakeholders
  • Experience in Project Management of small to medium sized projects
  • Experience with configuration and development in Intrahealth Profile or another EMR system
  • Ability to administer multiple core business systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet time constraints with competing deadlines
  • Advanced skills and experience in all Microsoft products

Desirable Criteria

  • Ability to build effective relationships to ensure user engagement and solution uptake
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience of similar role working in a health care operation.
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems
  • Experience in application access administration
  • Experience in coordinating and conducting UAT.
  • Experience in coordinating and conducting the full cycle end user training plans and creating effective educational materials.
  • Demonstrated skills in risk management.
