IT Support Technician - Production
Thomas Foods International is seeking expressions of interest to join our IT Department based in Tamworth.
The Production IT Support Technician’s role is to be the primary point of contact for users in responding system and technology problems so that the end user can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests in line with company priorities and clearly defined SLA’s.
The position will work closely with the TFI Electrical/Automation Engineering team, based at Tamworth, to support the production environment and associated technologies.
The IT Support Technician – Production will also work in conjunction with the Group Helpdesk Function, based in South Australia, to ensure the office technology users at Tamworth are supported in their roles.
Problem resolution will involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on support to users.
This position is part of broader TFI IT team and reports to the CIO for strategic and Project execution, but daily management is from the Tamworth Maintenance Manager.
Thomas Foods International Tamworth plant is an industry leader in the lamb processing industry. The plant is one of four meat processing facilities owned and operated by Thomas Foods International and produces lamb products for domestic and export sale.
