Senior Performance Engineer
Revolution IT is currently looking for a Senior Performance Engineer to join our growing Technical practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team as we look to provide leadership and delivery in modern ways of Performance Testing in Agile environments. We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated consultant with previous consulting experience across highly technical and Agile projects.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 12+ years consulting and technology delivery experience across agile projects with a focus on Performance Testing
- Development of detailed test plans, application simulation models, performance monitoring and analysis techniques.
- End to end management of the performance test lifecycle including planning, scripting and executing performance tests
- Demonstrated experience with open source and licensed tools, frameworks and scripting languages such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Stormrunner, Performance Center etc
- Programming knowledge in a relevant language – e.g. Java, C#, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, Python
- Script Development experience in relevant protocols – e.g. Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services
- Strong experience with cloud based architecture (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.)
- Practical involvement in all stages of technical delivery, from feasibility through to support
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and co-ordinate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional and versatile approach, demonstrating a consulting mentality
- People and team-orientated individual
- Ability to provide thought leadership in modern ways of Performance Testing
