We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technology Project & Security Manager to join our team in Melbourne.
The Technology Project & Security Manager is responsible to the Head of Information Technology and will support the Company’s strategic objectives and business plan through applied project management frameworks to deliver technology projects effectively. The role will also have responsibility for the Bank’s Cyber Security Framework and Policies and ensure the bank is meeting its security responsibilities.
You will have worked in a technology department in either small or large business, you will have a good all round knowledge of multiple technology solutions and understand the future landscape and modern architecture principles.

We are looking for someone who’s going to fit in with our team and company culture. That means you’ll:
- Have a minimum of 5 years in a security or project management role
- Be tertiary qualified in Technology or equivalent or relevant demonstrated industry experience.
- Be results-focused, pro-active and relish the opportunity to make things happen
- Be passionate about best in class project execution techniques
- Understand different techniques of project management and be flexible to meet the bank’s needs
- Demonstrate experience in IT security strategy and policy management
- Have experience in banking and financial services and understand the industry’s regulatory framework
- Be a strong communicator
- Be friendly, approachable and have strong people skills
- Be digitally savvy
- Strive for a responsible approach to banking

What you’ll be doing
- Applying project management framework to run projects on a day to day basis, including change management, stakeholder engagement, budgeting and cost management, delegation and business analysis
- Managing cyber security governance framework
- Performing security reviews of all existing and new systems
- Ensuring compliance with prudential standards and practice guides in relation to cybersecurity, data management and software as a service via the cloud
- Maintaining cyber security training for all staff
- Ensuring our technology partners meet security guidelines and business needs
- Ensuring development to key banking systems that support regulatory compliance are prioritised
- Developing and managing key relationships with internal/external stakeholders
