About the job

This is a key role within the Strategy & Transformation Integrated Planning function of NEO Transformation and Governance (NTG) which is accountable for the development and alignment of strategic initiatives, long term programs of work and prioritisation of initiatives supported by NTG across Network & Engineering Operations

The role of the Technology Investment Lead, NTG Strategy & Transformation is

• Provide planning, analysis, advice and support to development of NEO technology annual capex and investment portfolio.
• Accountable for end to end reporting, analysis and insight of NEO Technology investment performance. Provide planning, guidance and QA of NEO business case submission to Invesco for funding release.
• Implement and maintain the NTG value Realisation framework to maximize business value, as well as monitoring inflight performance of the investment portfolio.  This requires tracking delivery of expected benefits, Capabilities, and capital spends.  Provide insights, recommend corrective action if they are off track.
• Oversee NEO technology capex governance, identify risks, develop and execute mitigations plans to ensure NEO capex budget is delivered to prioritised plan.

 Skills must have

• Significant experience in business casing, investment management
• Significant experience developing and implementing value realisation/management frameworks
• Signification experience in capital planning and management
• Demonstrated people and project management experience
• Experience coaching staff and stakeholders in the areas of business case development and benefit realisation
• Previous experience working in an Agile environment
• Extensive Telco technical experience in technology, planning and decision making
• Experience in management reporting and presentation skills
• Tertiary Engineering/Finance / MBA qualification and worked in complex enterprise roles, within the telecommunications industry
• Business process improvement (Lean 6 sigma, TQM)
