• 6 month initial contract with possibility of extension
• Darlinghurst location

Our client is currently looking for a Project Officer to join their dynamic team and assist them in undertaking administration, monitoring and reporting tasks to support the delivery of projects using a variety of project management, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in project management processes, for example status reporting, timesheet management, time management and benefits tracking
• Assist in monitoring project, system delivery and benefits realisation in accordance with Group policies and procedures
• Coordinate program and project meetings including the distribution of papers, development of agendas and minute taking
• Assemble, maintain and collate project information to produce coordinated, consolidated and timely reporting, for example, basic risks and issues, milestones, resources, financials, etc.
• Provide timely and accurate reports for management and other program and project governance groups
• Evaluate effectiveness of project management tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement

Skills requirements:

Essential:

• Administration experience
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite of products (MS Word; Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)           

Desirable:

• 1-2 year or more project experience          
• Experience using MS Project
• Knowledge and experience in using a Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Relevant business and/or technology tertiary qualifications
