Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced permanent full time Community Investment Officer to join the Community Development and Partnerships Group, based in Gladstone.
The purpose of this position is to strategically negotiate and manage through to execution all sponsorships, donations and grants that are issued by Council, ensuring mutual benefit for all parties.
About you
- Bachelor Degree of Public Relations, Communications, Marketing (or related discipline) and/or significant experience in sponsorship and marketing.
- High level communication (verbal and written English) skills, particularly in business writing.
- Demonstrated experience managing internal and external engagement and/or partnership teams for a large organisation.
- Proven consistent and sound judgement and ethical behaviour in developing innovative solutions.
- High level organisation and prioritisation skills, along with well defined analytical skills and initiative.
- Proficient keyboards skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
