Providing support to our clients and positive role modelling will be core. Delivering person centered care across daily activities and community access, recreational activities, social support, transport, providing respite care and other requirements specified on the support plan.

The suitable candidate will have experience supporting Youth and Adults with High challenging behaviors, Intellectual and Physical disabilities.  
You will be hired on a casual basis with huge opportunity to grow within the team. The shifts will cover weekends and week day Mornings and evenings and the ability to be flexible with availability is essential. Immediate start! PLEASE NOTE: You MUST be prepared to travel (15-50km whilst on shift)- this can include collecting clients from school and taking out for community access before dropping home. 

YOU should be:

• Committed to providing the highest standard of care & support
• Reliable & flexible - willing to pick up different shifts (AM, PM, Night Duties)
• Able to build rapport with the clients & maintain professional relationships
• Able to manage HIGH challenging behaviours in a calm manner
• Willingness to provide personal care if needed

Your Certificates & competencies

•  Paid experience in Disability Support work
• Cert 3 or 4 in Disability or similar desirable
• 2 Professional Industry referee’s
• Current Open drivers licence, Full Comprehensive Insurance and Road Worthy Vehicle
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Blue card and Yellow card (or able to apply)
• Current Police check
• Have a smart phone to work with our eHCA app.

You will be a self-motivated, committed, organized individual who is flexible and be able to work in 1:1 capacity.
