Project Officer
- $82,574 - $93,689 (Plus Superannuation)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and results driven professional, to support Regional Development Victoria's (RDV) commitment to developing rural and regional Victoria.
Reporting to the Manager, Economic Development - Northern, the Project Officer will be responsible for monitoring and managing economic development initiatives for communities and businesses.
In addition, this role will:
- Create collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and partners across government and community
- Develop and facilitate projects for local, state and community needs, and assist the department deliver funding programs and initiatives
- Provide decision making advice regarding program and policy development, rural and regional community performance and identify emerging issues
- Support Economic Development activities and provide professional support regarding Departmental objectives to stakeholders
Ideally the successful applicant will understand regional development, have proven project management experience and be able to work in a results and timeline driven environment.
Additionally, the successful applicant will have:
- Experience providing sound support and advice on complex projects to facilitate decision making at a senior level
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and written communication skills, including the ability to engage and collaborate with senior and executive stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management skills, gained by achieving results within tight delivery timeframes
