Do you have qualifications in health promotion or social work and a passion for empowering communities to make positive contributions to youth mental health and wellbeing?

Community Awareness & Engagement Coordinator (HS017) (0.8 EFT)

The Community Awareness & Engagement Coordinator is accountable for the promotion of services of headspace services in Warrnambool and Portland which are designed to help young people to get early access to health and wellbeing services.

They will work to ensuring accessible information is provided to young people, their families and the local community to increase the capacity of young
people and their community to connect with appropriate health and wellbeing supports.

This includes:

• Development of targeted strategies to increase community awareness of mental health issues among young people.
• Facilitate youth and family participation.
• Organise and deliver health promotion activities and community events.
