Job Prospects (a division of SYC) is a leading jobactive and Disability Employment Services – Employment Support Service (DES-ESS) provider that works with jobseekers to gain and sustain employment and with employers to recruit and maintain their workforce. Job Prospects provided services to more than 47,700 people of all ages last year.
As part of our latest success in securing additional DES Contracts, we are now seeking a Disability Employment Service Community Liaison in the Riverland.
Duties of the successful applicant include:
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Positively promoting Disability Employment Services directly to job seekers, school leavers, families and other key stakeholders.
- Ensuring Job Prospects DES is represented at local Career / Job Expos, Business forums and other events to build profile and awareness of DES.
- Positively grow DES caseloads through direct registrations ensuring eligibility and compliance.
- Liaise with Centrelink, JCA and ESA providers to ensure the best outcome is achieved for direct registered job seekers.
- Deal with all direct referral enquiries in the ESA and provide relevant details regarding DES.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience working to deliver government contracts is desirable.
- Proven experience in a successful results driven team is desirable.
- Proven experience in a successful sales role is desirable.
- Experience and understanding of working within a quality and compliance environment.
- A qualification at Certificate IV level in a relevant discipline is desirable.
- Current Drivers Licence is required.
