An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Mental Health Employment Solutions Partner to join their welcoming and supportive team in Townsville.

The Position

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Establish, build and maintain relationships with mental health treating teams, employers and customers to ensure customers receive appropriate support
• Work with each customer to identify their personal strengths and preferences to tailor activities and job support which will lead to sustainable employment
• Facilitate high quality employment solutions which lead to sustainable outcomes by developing and maintaining a detailed knowledge of the local labour market
• Undertake reverse marketing activities focussed on job creation
• Provide effective job placement, on the job training and post placement support to meet the needs of customers
• Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with the broader team to deliver seamless employment solutions for customers
• Participate in community and cultural activities, functions and meetings to build and maintain community and employer partnerships
  

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrated success in the delivery of quality and customer focused Employment Services is essential
• Certificate level qualification in Mental Health and / or knowledge of the impacts of mental illness in a workplace is highly regarded
• Experience in engaging with people with mental illness or disability on a personal and / or professional level
• Ability to proactively build and maintain relationships in the community
• Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and work autonomously whilst contributing to the team performance goals
• Have an effective, flexible communication style that delivers positive outcomes for customers and the business
• Ability to work autonomously and independently within a mental health team to achieve employment outcomes
• Be self-motivated and driven with strong and accurate administration, data entry and reporting standards
  

Applicants must also have the ability to complete a police check, hold a Blue Card and have a current Driver's Licence.
