About the role
The NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission has introduced new reporting requirements, which has created the opportunity to hire a Client Safeguarding Coordinator.
Your main responsibility will be to support the Restrictive Practices Panel, the Client Safeguarding Manager and the Response Team to meet procedural and regulatory obligations.This role will implement and maintain efficient systems for the administration of reportable incidents, restrictive practices and Response Team matters.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Report to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and other relevant bodies on reportable incidents, regulated restrictive practices and other safeguarding matters
- Receive and review Restrictive Practice Panel applications
- Refer staff to appropriate assistance where applications are incomplete
- Coordinate Response Team On Call calendar
- Coordinate Response Team cases through Incident Management System
- Data collection and reporting
- Staff training and resources
- Liaise with representatives of external agencies
- Gather information from different systems, such as CRM and TCM

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with MS Office, and large computer systems

- Current NSW Driver's Licence
