MADEC is a large organisation with a permanent workforce of nearly 400 and a service delivery network of 58 offices across South Australia and Victoria. Working closely with our DES Employment Consultants and local employers you will focus on securing suitable employment opportunities for our Disability Employment Service clients. Upon placement into work, you will continue to partner with the client and the employer to ensure that ongoing work is maintained. You will provide regular support to both the client and the employer through phone and face to face contacts, conduct worksite visits, facilitate work place modifications where appropriate, and effectively remove barriers that may otherwise be problematic to workforce participation through effective problem solving.
Your enthusiasm, resilience and genuine desire to help others will be obvious in your approach to work, preferring a person-centred approach, ensuring that the goals agreed are well matched to our client and employer needs.
Of course, there is paperwork that must be done, so you will utilise your well-developed planning and organising, administration and computer skills to ensure that you complete all compliance and case noting requirements.
A driver's licence, National Police and DCSI child-related employment screening are required on commencement.
