About the role
An opportunity exists for a Disability Support Worker to join the team in Parkes in a permanent part-time capacity. You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing and monitoring Individual Plan’s. 
 
You will be actively supporting their individual needs and creating a safe environment and you will need to be available for sleepover shifts. 

As this role involves day to day care of male clients, we ask that ONLY male applicants apply to maintain the decency and privacy of our male clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision
  • Community Access & Transport
  • Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
  • Documenting & Progress Note keeping
Skills & Experience
  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Certificate III Community Welfare, Disability or similar
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals of people with disabilities.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
