CentacareCQ has an opportunity for a full time Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner or Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner - in training to join their dedicated Family Relationship Services team in Yeppoon.
Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners provide Family Dispute Resolution Services as part of the Family Relationship Center.
Key tasks of this role will include:
- Family dispute resolution services;
- Intake, information, support and referral services;
- Community education / group work services;
- Program promotion and networking.
Family Dispute Resolution services will be delivered in accordance with Family Law Act (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners guidelines) and the organisational Quality Management System policies and procedures.
Duties include:

- Support a positive culture within the organisation in line with CentacareCQmission, vision and values;
- Participate actively in formation activities.
Day-To-Day Operations
- Deliver high quality Family Dispute Resolution services to support clients in accordance with Family Law Act (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners guidelines) and the organisational Quality Management System policies and procedures;
- Develop, plan and implement psychoeducational and developmental Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) programs to families, individuals, experiencing conflictual relationships or family separation;
- Implement client outcome measures in accordance with service guidelines, funding accountability and professional responsibilities.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Identify and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders;
- Network within the region and with other key external stakeholders to ensure up to date information is available in relation to all areas of the CentacareCQ’s services.
Please note: The successful candidate will be required to participate in an Australian Federal Police check and a Working with children check, prior to confirmation of appointment to the position.
