You will:

• Plan and execute key strategic priorities and ensure portfolio of projects aligns to the Company's long-term vision and day-to-day operations across the APAC region
• Demonstrate leadership and management skills coupled with strong portfolio management or strategic business planning skills to ensure integrity of the portfolio, program, and projects
• Develop a pragmatic sense of what is “enough governance” for a maturing organisation with a small, high value portfolio that provides a consistent approach without creating an unnecessary burden of compliance
• Realise benefits on strategic initiatives by running pilots and small projects to assess feasibility and scalability across the APAC business
• Minimize and mitigate risks across the portfolio of projects
• Build and maintain robust relationships with all parts of the business as well as programs and projects, to ensure that all initiatives meets the requirements of the portfolio / program board
• Work with business areas to identify any gaps in initiatives and to understand what activities are planned to fill those gaps
• Understand the wider objectives of the portfolio and program, credibility within the environment and be able to influence others
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior managers, the program and project teams, and any third-party service providers
• Provide insight and commentary on data for Executive level audiences
• Act as a stand in Program Manager for initiatives requiring initial shaping and definition on an as-needed basis

Background:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a strategy or management consulting role in a top-tier strategy or management consulting firm
• Strong background in strategic planning and running strategic projects
• Experience in managing organisational change
• Stakeholder engagement experience at senior levels
• Highly developed stakeholder management skills backed up with solid exposure to methods and tools for governing large portfolios
