What you'll be doing
The Policy and Briefing Officer will work closely with the Director of Investment, Strategy and Architecture and Office of the Chief Executive, to manage the delivery of strategic advice and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) policy development and review. The role will develop high-level briefs and conduct policy reviews to provide advice to a range of ley stakeholders including Executive Directors within eHealth NSW, NSW Health and other government stakeholders.

You may be asked to complete psychometric assessment (e.g. a personality and cognitive abilities assessments) in the recruitment process for this position.

  • Experience in in a large and complex diverse Government and/or Information Technology organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent
  • Demonstration strong understanding of IT terminology and a good understanding of general IT practices and strategies.
  • Extensive experience in developing, reviewing and delivering complex policy and high level briefing documentation and preparation of written reports.
  • Sound analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
  • Proven engagement, collaboration and negotiation skills with the capability to build maintain and use relationships with customers and senior stakeholders.
