We have an opportunity for a senior resource to join our team on a Defence fuel program across Australia. This position is suited to a resource who has significant experience in the leading of the Defence fuel projects, is able to shape design solutions across multiple sites and drive maximum value for the Commonwealth.

You will undertake reporting across the program whilst also liaising directly with the client’s technical and program teams. You will also coordinate resources across our existing technical teams and sub-consultants to drive internal efficiency and productivity.

This role(s) will take responsibility for:

• Stakeholder management
• Design management across a portfolio of projects
• Financial management across a portfolio
• Review of proposals and technical documentation prior to distribution to the client
• Assisting our technical teams to drive innovation in design solutions
• Working with the client teams to deliver innovation and efficiency in approach

To be successful in this position you will have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management or Engineering
• Experience including undertaking senior roles in Defence fuel projects.
• Strong understanding of Defence fuel design.
• Able to travel to project sites and to stakeholder meetings in Canberra.
• Experience in coaching others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills and the ability to present during stakeholder meetings

As the program is national, the candidate will be able to work from one of our offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin, Adelaide or Perth.
