We are working with a high profile commercially minded government organisation to recruit a Senior Finance Project Manager to lead and manage the Procure to Pay workstream of the Finance Transformation Program.
Reporting the the Finance Program Director you will:
- deliver a range of modifications and enhancements to existing procure to pay systems
- provide operational management for the implementation and transition of the program’s deliverables
- support the procurement function in establishing a robust strategic sourcing framework including the development and implementation of sourcing plans and tactics to effectively manage procurement portfolios.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you meet the following criteria:
- Degree qualification in a related field or significant equivalent experience and relevant professional accreditation or certification to a procurement industry or recognised board.
- Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
- Advanced Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel and Project skills.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive experience in deploying effective procure to pay strategies and operating frameworks in large public sector enterprises.
- Experience in the delivery of high quality integrated advice across a full range of procurement and payable services in a public sector environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the evolution of procurement frameworks and legislation and the industrial framework.
- Financial leadership experience together with experience in the insurance industry.
- Finance transformation experience.
While the role is based in the CBD there will be some requirement for travel to Gosford.
