Java Integration Developer, FX Settlements, Core Java ( 1.7, 1.8 ), Murex 2.11

The Company:
My client is a large global financial institution currently expanding throughout the Asia Pacific region. A well established firm within the capital markets space, they have an excellent combination of highly advanced technologists with superb business side knowledge. The client is currently looking for a Murex Developer to join a brand new team taking on new projects from its Sydney office.

The Role 
You will be an experienced Java Integration Developer experienced in ESB, technologies such as Apache, Mule and or Camel. You will be working on a large scale integration project within the eFX settlements space and then branching out to cover all Fixed Income products.

Other duties involve: 
• Test Driven Development 
• Murex integration methodology  
• MxML Exchange workflow and Interfaces
 
Essential Experience

• Strong Core Java knowledge 1.7, 1.8
• Excellent Object orientated development, design patterns
• Strong client focus, communication skills 
• Sybase experience is highly desired
• Solid functional and technical understanding on settlement instructions 

Substantial experience and knowledge in:  

• Good knowledge of Cash FX Products 
• Fixed income experience(Bonds, FX)
• Exposure to SQL
