The Role

As a Marketing Associate, you will:

• Assist in the ideation and own the development and editing of communications, campaign content, social content and press releases
• Assist in the development and management of social communities, social content and social presence
• Assist in the development and execution of CRM activities including EDMs and automation and engagement workflows
• Assist in the ideation and development of content and collateral for sales campaigns, events and initiatives
• Be a brand ambassador and ensure brand guidelines are followed across all touch points
• Assist the marketing team across all marketing activities, as needed

Responsibilities   

Communications, Content & Collateral

• Ideate, write and edit on-brand sales & marketing content, social content, EDMs and collateral copy - digital and print
• Assist with Ezypay's media centre and press agency. Write press releases ready for distribution.
• Liaise with internal staff and external suppliers to ensure collateral is produced in a timely and cost-effective manner

Social and Community

• Ideate and write social content with the aim to engage and/or meet campaign objectives
• Manage social communities
• Monitor social interaction and engage key personnel with the intention of ensuring a positive brand presence

CRM, Automation and Sales Pipeline

• Execute on automation workflow planning
• Assist customer success through EDM and engagement flow development
• Provide support to sales team members to ensure accurate and timely updating of CRM & sales pipeline information

Campaigns, Events and Sales Support

• Assist with campaign ideation and execution on the appropriate channels -  Ezypay website, automation flows, social, digital advertising channels and others
• Provide events support in the form of collateral development and events logistics
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective execution of sales support campaigns

Reporting

• Assist with the generation and updating of key marketing reports
• Assist with Ad hoc reporting as required

Marketing Administration

• Ensure processes & procedures are followed and kept up to date within the sales & marketing teams
• Assist with all marketing related activities, as needed

Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or journalism
• Proven work experience and commercial understanding of the field of marketing
• Understanding and ability to write commercial communications for printed and digital collateral
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
• Eager to learn and grow within a marketing team
