Your new company
My Government client is currently looking to appoint a Communications Executive to support the communications for large scale projects.
Your new role
Commencing as soon as possible, this exciting 3 month communications role will see you research, develop, implement and analyse strategic communications plans for internal and external audiences ensuring these align with corporate style guides. You will provide advice to stakeholders as required having the ability to liaise with professionals at varying levels. Providing support to other members of the team, you will assist with the organising of events, writing for publications, brochures web content and other collateral plus more.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Exceptional communications skills both verbal and written with the ability to adapt to different audiences
- Previous experience working at an ASO5 level within a State, Local or Federal Government department in a communications role
- Availability to commence immediately for the duration of the contract and possess a DCSI working with children clearance
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously and balance competing priorities with tight deadlines
- Proven experience developing, writing and implementing strategic communications plans
- Outstanding attention to detail
