Your new company
Based in Geelong for over 10 years, Hays Recruitment are the only local preferred supplier choice to Federal, State and Local Government organisations as well as leading employers across Geelong, Ballarat, Horsham, Warrnambool and Western Victoria.

Working with a Federal Government agency with its National Headquarters in Geelong, we are currently looking to appoint 3 Senior Market Information Officers for an initial 2 year contract with a possible extension thereafter.

Your new role
Situated within the Provider and Stakeholder Relations Branch, a new position has been created to support the work to understand the diversity of the varied provider groups within the market, assessing the need for tailored information, and delivering targeted engagement and communication strategies. You will:

• Lead the development of market information products such as Market insights and Market Position Statements including; content development, design and publication approvals
• Support the development and implementation of a market segment information strategy
• Coordinate information gathering research activities with all stakeholders
• Support the creation and delivery of provider channel content
• Interpret and analyse data and reports relevant to provider segments or industry submarkets
• Develop materials and resources across a range of platforms including accessible word document, PowerPoints, social media and designed publications
• Prepare executive and ministerial level briefing materials on progress of the market information projects

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these roles, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualifications in Market Research, Marketing, Communications, Change Management or equivalent experience
• Competency in using and interpreting data
• Demonstrated capacity to produce high quality content through varied platforms
• Proven ability in a mentor capacity
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence to deliver significant outcomes while assisting a number of internal stakeholders
• Strong skills with MS Office Suite
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

Previous experience in Government, Health, Banking, Insurance and other public sector projects would be highly regarded.
