We are looking for a talented Customer Marketing Executive to join our Marketing and Subscriptions Team on a 12 month max term contract based in Sydney adjacent to the iconic Darling Harbour.

Australian Metro Publishing is responsible for content generation and product management for all wholly-owned digital and print mastheads in Australia, including The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Australian Financial Review.
Working within the AMP Marketing team and reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager, the Customer Marketing Executive will help deliver and execute our subscriber lifecycle strategy to ensure retention of our existing subscribers of The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Australian Financial Review. This role will take a digital first approach in close collaboration with other Customer Marketing team members to help execute marketing initiatives to achieve the targeted revenue and ROI result.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with planning and optimisation of our program of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive revenue growth and retention.
- Development and execution of a range of campaign assets including email, display, social and more.
- Assist with the ongoing tracking, analysis and reporting on effectiveness of campaigns to help shape future improvements.
- Working closely with external agencies, suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of campaigns within budget.
Our preferred candidate will have the following:
- Direct experience in a marketing function with a digital focus
- Experience managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated exceptional communication skills
- Ability to collaborate efficiently and effectively with agencies and senior stakeholders
- Basic html understanding and/or email marketing platform experience beneficial
- Ability to deliver campaign assets at pace with accuracy and attention to detail
- An understanding of digital commercial drivers and ROI measurement beneficial.
