About Our Division

The Division is responsible for buildings with a replacement cost of NZ$2.5 billion, and more than 22,000 hectares of land. With over 3,500 University Staff and 20,000 students, it's a bit like helping to run a small town.
The Role
You will be responsible for creating high quality, sign writing / painting work for a wide range of University buildings and fixtures.
The position is well suited to a skilled sign writer with good trade experience. You will become our resident expert for all signwriting questions, projects or inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair, maintain, alter or carry out new sign writing, painting or other associated work.
- Manufacture high quality vinyl lettering.
- Undertake digital printing.
- Advise staff and departments on issues and solutions as requested.
Your Skills and Experience
- Prior commercial / trade related sign writing experience
- Sound knowledge of sign writing techniques
- Familiarity with methods to protect existing surfaces while carrying out work
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe illustrator, Signlab and RasterLink is a bonus.
