The Electricity Authority works to promote competition, reliable supply and efficient operation of the market for the long term benefit of consumers.

This is a critical role in the communications team, maintaining and developing our website, which is central to the work of the organization. It is an opportunity for you to be part of a small team that is managing and delivering information to both our internal and external stakeholders primarily through our website.

Your attention will primarily be on the website but you will develop an understanding of our information management systems and provide support to staff as required. Your ability to develop positive working relationships with staff will be important in seeking and receiving information in a timely manner and enhancing your understanding of the big picture. You will be able to provide analysis and reports on our information and communication systems to inform development and future directions. There will also be a chance to provide technical advice and system administration to communication tools and to lead small projects.

We are looking for someone who has web publishing and Content Management System experience and who has a high degree of technical literacy. Exposure to records or information management would be an advantage. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills; be well organised, quick to learn and self-motivated.
