Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the food, primary produce, industrial and grocery sectors.
The role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is an exciting and varied role where you will be responsible for our manufacturing sites financial accounting function.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- producing financial reports including monthly, quarterly and annual management financial accounts
- providing analysis of production, capital expenditure and cost efficiencies
- managing our raw stock inventory (paper) and associated stock controls
- reviewing, maintaining and developing systems and control procedures
- providing back up to the Finance Manager as well as assisting to supervise other members of the Finance team.
Requirements for the role:
- CA/ CPA/ CIMA qualified or in the process of completing
- Ideally four or more years Financial accounting experience within the manufacturing/ commercial sector
- Exposure to SAP or similar ERP package is desirable but not essential
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word
- Excellent communication skills and ability to grasp manufacturing processes
