This newly created role requires the talents of an articulate Manager with sound experience in all aspects of business services to join one of our long-standing clients in the professional services sector.
To be successful in this key management role, you will need to hold full CA qualifications complemented by a minimum of 6-7 years experience in a reputable accounting and business advisory firm.
The firm has entered and new and dynamic stage, which offers unprecedented potential for career progression all the way to partner level in the longer term.
Our client's culture is vibrant and positive and most of the candidates we have placed here have come from larger mid-tier and Big 4 firms. Therefore, we believe it is highly likely this role will be no different.
As the newly appointed Manager you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the partners with a wide range of operational and strategic responsibilities
- Supervising and reviewing work papers and engagement files
- Managing team workflow and ensuring team targets/deadlines are met
- Mentoring and guiding a team of 15-17 professionals at various stages of their careers
- Assisting with internal training
- Taking part (alongside partners) in complex advisory projects for some of the largest clients
- Various other ad hoc duties and responsibilities, as required
