Aircraft Maintenance Centre (AMC) is located at Illawarra Airport, approx. 20mins South of Wollongong, NSW are currently seeking suitably experienced candidates to apply for the position of Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
This is a fulltime position operating Monday - Friday and is a great opportunity to join a professional and energetic company operating under the Experience Co group of companies, with an immediate start date available.
We offer an attractive remuneration package of between $100,000 - $114,000pa (depending on licence qualifications), a great working environment, long term career opportunity and a commitment to world-class results. Ideally you will have experience and current ratings on Cessna 208 Caravan’s (of which we maintain a fleet of 26 throughout Australia and New Zealand) with Pratt & Whitney PT6 Endorsement and / or Garrett / Honeywell TPE331 Endorsement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- A combination of line and base maintenance as a member of assigned Gas Turbine Engine, Module or airframe teams including repair, modification, inspection, or testing.
- Team coordination & oversight
- Identifying defects and discrepancies
- Conduct certification of maintenance tasks
- Recognise and report unsafe conditions
- Work to outcomes whilst ensuring highest quality workmanship
- Commitment to being part of a team-oriented organisation seeking continuous improvement
Key Attributes Required:
- B1 Licence with Pratt & Whitney PT6 and / or Garrett / Honeywell TPE331 Endorsement/s.
- Ability to achieve required activities with minimal supervision and posses great time management skills and a strong eye for detail
- Ensure safety of work processes and equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
- General Aviation Experience
