We are seeking the following highly motivated staff with a strong civil geotechnical background and tailings engineering experience;

Civil Designer

We are seeking a well experienced and multi-skilled 12D civil designer to join our team in position to design and manage multiple projects and assist the Directors with client liaison.

The applicant should have qualifications, expertise and experience in the following areas;

• 12D civil design (mandatory);
• AutoCAD (CivilCAD 3D);
• Experience with the design of Tailings Storage Facilities and Waste Land Forms;
• Experience with Open Pit mines and the development of mine sites (process and non-process infrastructure);
• Strong communication & self-management skills
• Construction supervision & contract administration experience.

Skills and Experience:

Ideally you should hold a minimum of 5 years industry experience with an Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering and be proficient in all aspects of civil design, construction and client management.  A self-starter with a view to a long-term career position with thorough knowledge of all aspects of design and development in WA would be an ideal candidate.

The successful candidate will be given support through from experienced Engineers/Directors as well as experienced Civil Designers.

Your new role:

The successful candidate will  focus on TSF design and mine site development projects across WA using 12D modelling and AutoCAD. You will also be required to plan and deliver an estimate of cost preparation in excel and prepare relevant contract documentation using templates. You will be competent with preparing a detailed design scope and present and explain information to internal and external stakeholders.
