City Water Technology is a water and wastewater treatment consultancy located in Sydney's northern suburbs (Gordon), NSW. In response to continuing growth CWT is currently seeking a full time Senior Engineer with at least 7 years of experience in the water industry.
You will be involved with a wide variety of clients, industries and projects. You will be part of a team undertaking water and wastewater infrastructure projects ranging from strategic planning, options analysis and investigation studies through to design and construction phase projects for government (municipal process) and private sector (industrial process) clients across Eastern Australia.
We require the services of a Senior Process Engineer to be involved in the following:
- Undertake investigations, options analysis and concept designs for domestic and industrial water, wastewater and recycled water treatment issues
- Assist in the business development strategy for CWT
- Assess operations & business processes and provide recommendations for our clients
- Supervise junior staff in the writing of clear & concise work instructions, procedures , and other operational documentation
- Conduct process risk assessments & compile detailed management plans
- Client liaison in relation to water and wastewater treatment services, including but not limited to enhancing and maintaining client relationships, winning work, staffing projects and staff development
- Preparation of proposals to deliver high quality technical solutions.
- Some local and Interstate travel involved
Position Requirements
- Engineering Degree
- Excellent report writing & computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other engineers
- Time management skills to efficiently achieve task and project objectives
- Self-starter & team player
- Availability to travel interstate when required
- CPEng and/or Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status desirable
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the water and wastewater industry
