The Australian Financial Review is seeking an experienced Banking and Wealth Reporter covering banking, superannuation, insurance, wealth and personal finance.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Companies & Markets Editor, this position is responsible for breaking news and writing engaging news and features about key industry issues. Based in Pyrmont, the Reporter will write for the Financial Review's print and digital platforms.
ABOUT YOU:
As our preferred candidate, you will be able to demonstrate strong news breaking skills, the ability to analyse business performance and regulatory policy and a sound knowledge of the financial services industry. You should have a well developed range of contacts in financial services. You will have good understanding of business issues, as well as an ability to analyse financial performance.
Superior storytelling skills, a drive to break news, and experience with digital platforms are preferred, as is an ability work flexible hours.
