The IT Services department are looking to recruit an experienced Oracle Developer for a fixed term maternity cover.

You will have a degree and significant experience of software development. You will support the technical development of the University’s Oracle EBusiness suite (Finance, HRMS, Payroll) R12 platform utilising a wide range of technical skills including: Oracle forms customisation and extensions; Oracle workflows, alerts and business events; customisation and personalisation using OA Framework; PL/SQL development with extensive use of the delivered APIs, developing reports in XML Publisher and Oracle Discoverer. You will be part of a small team whose other responsibilities will include: integration, troubleshooting, 3rd line support and upgrades of the EBusiness Suite platform.

Alongside your development skills you will also require good analytical and interpersonal skills as there is a strong aspect of client facing work working with the functional leads. Working alongside your business colleagues you will display a strong understanding of functional usage of the modules within Oracle Financials, HCM and Payroll.
