Maxwood also Manufacture a range of products primarily made from Stainless & Mild Steel. Due to rapid growth in this division of the company we require additional staff.
We are looking for an entry level Factory Assistant to join our Christchurch plant. We are a small team, which means you will have the opportunity to learn a wide variety of tasks. You will also have the opportunity to travel to projects through New Zealand to assist on site with installations. Our ideal applicant is personable, get on well with others, and be able to easily take instruction from team members and project staff.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Strong focus on safety
- A current Drivers Licence
- Right to work in New Zealand
- An ability to communicate with people at all levels
- A knack for following instructions
- The willingness to pitch in and help on whatever tasks to get a project completed
- The availability to travel to project sites for up to two (2) weeks at a time
Drilling, tapping, welding (or similar trade) experience would be a bonus to us, but not essential as we will provide on the job training.
