More About The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will need to take accountability for the full accounting function. This is a sole charge role which key responsibilities will include;

• Month-end reporting
• Balance Sheet
• Profit and Loss
• Year-end accounts
• Liaising with auditors
• Funding reconciliations
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Billing and allocations
• Any other ad hoc duties

So Who Are You & What Is Your Profile?

You are ideally someone who is either CA qualified or working towards your CA. You have full knowledge of the end to end accounting process and are happy to get stuck into the transactional administration as well as have strengths with financial accounting.

You will preferably have exposure to working with small businesses or with charities. You will have experience dealing with funding reconciliations. You will have good excel skills and experience working on Xero.

You will be someone who is passionate and excited about what Spirit of Adventure stand for and the opportunities they provide to young people.

Most importantly, you will be someone who is flexible and enjoys working in a small close-knit team and doesn’t mind pitching in where needed to ensure the smooth running of the business.
