LeaderBrand is a large scale, vertically integrated horticultural business that grows, packs and distributes a range of fresh vegetables, salads and process vegetables for domestic and international customers.
Due to business growth, commissioning of new plant & equipment plus the introduction of new business systems, the company now wishes to appoint a CA qualified Financial Controller to the Gisborne based Finance team.
This key senior role reports to LeaderBrand’s CFO and oversees the whole Finance & Administration team. You will manage the operations of the accounting department, lead the Company’s transactional & reporting functions and manage their financial compliance requirements.

LeaderBrand has recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV 15 so exposure to this or a similar ERP system would be advantageous.

Competencies required to be successful in this role include:
- An in depth understanding of the primary industry
- Extensive exposure to ERP systems and Business Intelligence software
- 8+ years’ commercial experience
- A focus on continuous improvement
- Sound people leadership & teamwork skills
- Willingness to live & work in Gisborne
- CA or CPA qualification
