As the Territory Manager, your role will be involved in building strong, mutually beneficial sales relationships across 3 departments within the supermarket channel. It will also be your responsibility to identify further opportunities that allow for portfolio growth across your region. This is an exciting role with endless opportunities, so we are looking for someone who is driven to succeed and grow their region like their very own business.


Accountabilities


• Maintaining and forming sales relationships and business partnerships with our current customer base and new customers and delivering on service and quality expectations.
• Identifying and implementing growth opportunities with new and current external customers
• Communicating promotional plans and pricing to customers and problem solving in order to provide store specific alternatives where necessary.
• Focusing on building up product lines across all stores
• Continually communicating with the Customer Services Team to achieve seamless ordering and delivering of stock to your territory
• Providing reporting and customer support on a daily and weekly basis regarding store credits, market activity and display allowances
• Completing administrative duties on time and within the specified deadline


Skills required


• A minimum of 3 years' experience within a sales and/or fast paced FMCG role with exposure to KPIs
• Strong customer service and/or client management background
• Understanding of the NZ meat industry (preferable though not essential)
• Sound knowledge of retail store operations
• Be confident in conflict resolution and problem solving methods
• Be self-driven and will have a strong level of autonomy
• Be a strong communicator and team player
• Merchandising knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
