Felton Industries was founded on the iconic wall mounted shower mixer (Feltonmix) and the company continues to develop great shower mixers, tap ware and roses for the New Zealand and offshore markets.
We are looking for a customer-oriented individual to handle 2nd-tier technical calls and manage our warranty programme. The role reports to the Engineering Manager, as part of the broader Engineering team, but also works closely with Customer Services and Sales personnel. Core duties include:
• Responding to technical enquiries from retailers and the trade via email and phone (calls referred through the Customer Services team)
• Providing customers and Felton Sales and Services staff with product knowledge
• Co-ordinating Felton's Service Agents
• Logging warranty claims and as part of the engineering team, analyse these for trends
The successful candidate may be a qualified plumber, engineer or someone who can demonstrate customer service in a technical environment. They should also have:
• Excellent communication skills
• A warm, approachable manner
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
