HPE currently recruiting for a highly energetic & motivated New Zealand Pointnext Leader to be based in Auckland.  

As the New Zealand Pointnext Leader you will ensure that there is a strong sales pipeline of qualified deals, drive sales thorough proactively establishing strong relationships with key IT & business executive’s, focusing on senior business management challenges & strategies, while acting as the go to person for assisting with getting deals qualified & across the line. The scope of this role is across the three different sales motions Attach, New Business & Installed Base (Renewals) sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the broader Pointnext business where appropriate (other lines of business, sales, delivery)
  • Deliver customer/partner/sales presentations – training/enablement/selling
  • Mentor, nurture, motivate & manage Sales team to ultimately achieve & exceed the teams Orders Quota
  • Utilise technical & business skills to lead complex cross- functional activities that drive continuous growth of the services business across all segments & route to markets (indirect & direct)
  • Responsible for revenue & margin contribution for a set of (more than one) solutions or services

You will possess the following:

  • 8 years + IT sales experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a Sales Lead/Managerial role
  • Skilled at building rapport, opening doors, & understanding business requirements of senior decision makers
  • Highly developed business acumen & negotiation skills
  • High energy with excellent presentation & written & verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills in planning & financial analysis
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets & make good business decisions for the benefit of HPE
