My client is a specialist provider of steel products and a highly professional organisation comprised of industry professionals. The business is known not only for the strength of its product portfolio but also the technical support and service level they provide to their stakeholders. This is a well led business with an excellent understanding of their market, and they are now looking to strengthen the representation and direction for their product solutions with the addition of a Specifications Sales Manager.
Adopting the confidence of an already respected product range you will be highly active in the market, identifying and working with decision makers to influence the specification process. As well as taking a project and sales lead in the business, you will also become a product champion of sorts, contributing to initiatives to grow your business via industry functions, events and networking.
As a candidate you will have a proven track record in increasing and sustaining your presence within the commercial construction and/or architectural field and be able to display a sound understanding of what constitutes a successful specification sales process. You will be looked to for your sound commercial acumen, the strength of your influencing skills and your ability to establish and utilise a key network base for the benefit of your business and self.
