The Downer Infrastructure Projects business has undergone significant growth and change in the past 24 months and are looking for a HR Advisor to join their team in Auckland. With an increased portfolio of work, the diversity of people in the business and the geographical spread there are many different facets to get in involved in.
The position will involve dealing with managers on a day to day basis and you will have the opportunity to use your solid HR skills within a truly collaborative, forward thinking and successful organisation.
Reporting to the National HR Manager - Infrastructure Projects, the HR Advisor will work closely within the business to provide an effective, efficient and professional delivery of HR Services to our business.
This is a hands on, operational HR role that provides generalist HR advice, guidance and support to our Managers within the region. You will champion HR best practices aligned to support the business through its strategy and growth and drive a proactive culture.
We are seeking applications from experienced HR Advisors with a minimum of three years proven ability to work within large scale organisations and diverse businesses. You will have good working knowledge across all areas of HR including workforce relations, performance management and training and development.
Your strong communication skills allow you to form solid relationships across all levels of the business. You are skilled in developing value-add, trust based relationships and you will have demonstrated ability in managing and supporting the delivery of HR policies and procedures. A tertiary qualification is preferred in Human Resources however what's more important to us is your hands on experience as an HR Advisor.
