Competency Framework Specialist

What is the role?
As a Competency Framework Specialist, your primary responsibility is to develop the career pathing for our clients utilising IBM’s career framework content. You will review our client’s role information then select the most appropriate match to IBM’s catalogue of role profiles. You will then be the owner of this data, adapting it to meet the needs of our clients.
Key activities:
- Reviewing of client role information to understand their job architecture and role requirements
- Mapping IBM role profiles (i.e. pre-validated competency profiles) to client job information
- Analysis of key themes across an organisations role data and making observations/recommendations to enhance both individual and organisational success
- Data management
- Process improvement of the career mapping process
Key qualifications & experience:
- Experience in HR with a specific focus on competency frameworks and competency role profiles
- Proven ability to review data, make observations and recommendations
What type of person are we looking for?
- Quality focused & attention to detail - you will pride yourself on detail, accuracy and getting it right
- Analytical – enjoy working with large data sets and pulling out patterns and trends
- Great verbal and written communication – to share your key findings with clients in verbal and written form
- Advanced in excel
- High levels of internal drive – happy to do repetitive tasks until the data is right
