Utilise your senior experience managing remuneration operations in a complex environment to shape the future of Reward at BNZ. Role based in Auckland.

Our Reward team play a key role in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of BNZ's reward program of work. They focus on delivering first class reward consulting service to the wider business and our People teams.

About the role

You will lead the design and implementation of remuneration and reward solutions across BNZ and establish a reward and performance strategy in line with BNZ and NAB Group methodologies. Along with ensuring supporting policies and practices meet changes in market pay practices, you will also support the delivery of reward governance activities including incentive governance.

Leading a team of Reward professionals, you will provide coaching and on-going development through sharing your specialist reward knowledge to understand trends and apply this understanding to any advice and recommendations.

Working with senior members across BNZ, you will support the preparation of board and executive team papers for the GM Reward and Payroll and confidently present your findings as required.

You will play a key part in the continuous improvement of associated remuneration operations processes and systems and will be involved in a number of exciting projects.

About you

You will have ideally seven or more years remuneration experience in large, complex organisations where you have delivered notable remuneration projects and designed incentives schemes.

Along with experience in writing board/ executive team papers relating to remuneration matters, you have managed superannuation schemes and possess executive remuneration experience.

Ideally you will have exposure working with Unions on remuneration matters and have a working knowledge of payroll, performance and reward systems.

Your influencing, negotiation and relationship management skills need to be second to none and you are considered an expert in remuneration management principles and job evaluation.
