Company background:Our client is a global digital media agency with a strong offering in the Auckland market. They have recently won a large new client, and in response to internal shifts are seeking a talented Account Manager to welcome into their friendly, passionate and exciting team.
Position Overview:
As an account manager, you will deliver excellent traditional media planning and buying, and also digital planning buying. On the client side, this role will deliver exceptional client service. You will collaborate with stakeholders and develop and maintain excellent relationships with external partners. You should have 2+ years of media agency experience.
Organisational Structure:
You will report to and work alongside a Senior Account Manager, and be overseen by the Account Director and Business Manager

Major Goals of the Role:
Develop self and team
With support from manager, develop self, and help to develop other team members into a group of well-rounded, high-performing people across digital and traditional media planning/buying platforms
Satisfy Clients and partners
Deliver exemplary service to the Client portfolio, and build and maintain exceptional relationships with team, Clients, media owners and creative agencies – from agency partners to agency advocates
Deliver the work
Deliver sound, pioneering media communications solutions that drive consumer demand and deliver business results to your Clients – from buying media to buying growth
Key Challenges/Success Limitations/Obstacles:
This position requires at least 2 years of media agency experience. Some of the clients you will be working across are household, big brand names – you need to be confident working with such renowned brands. It is also vital that you are able to hit the ground running and learn fast!

Required Capabilities:
- 2+ years’ experience in media agency or similar industry
- Excellent traditional media planning/buying abilities
- Digital media planning/buying capabilities
- Time management skills are essential
- Presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Numerical accuracy, statistical and analytical skills
